DJs will love this package because they will find hot remixes of "She came along", "Get wild", "The one" and extended versions of "I love the way", "Texi", "Don't say a word" and "Crazi" just to name a few. Spanish top DJ/Producer Kiko Navarro reworks the classic Blaze production "We are one" single, taken from the Keep Hope Alive compilation. The "New life remix" is solid and deep, with an infectious driving groove and powerful bassline. Tone Control (Simon Finnegan & Marcus Harris) returns for the 7th release on Tone Control Music with a beautiful mid-tempo soul track titled "Take me away". Joe Carreta takes the track to rhe dancefloor, providing an awesome soulful remix, adding a driven house groove and warm, infectious keys. This is an awesome EP that collects 3 of the classic singles from Logic, released on Strictly Rhythm in the early '90s. Keith Thompson teams up with Davidson Ospina and Oscar P for this new single on Thompsonic. "At midnight" is the solid funky-house remake of the classic disco hit by T-Connection. The Original mix re-introduces the song to a new geration, it is deep and a bit dark, with solid beats and a great funky bassline. "The button" by Thomas Gold is another dancefloor bomb coming from Toolroom Records. This powerful techy track has heavy kick, high pitched synth stabs, noise effects and simple but effective vocal loops. The "Hits Remix EP 2010" by Gambafreaks ft. Nicole is a very interesting package that includes some of the hottest tracks from this team in remixed format. "Never say never" is the most represented track here, with remixes from Luca Cassani, Holly vs Mappa and Lori D, just to name few. The classic "Generate power" by Photon Inc. has been a floorfiller back in 1991 and this excellent remixes package has the right numbers to fill the floors once again. The "Soul Avangerz Soda remix" is powerful and groovy, with its irresistible driving groove and that familiar vocals, while Jimpster provides a deeper rework with funky bass and driving keys. The new album from Italian producer Dan-E-MC is an awesome release, "Rara eleganza" on Sound Division offers an excellent selection of fresh funky tracks influenced with cool "disco" and jazzy elements, great soulful vocals and modern house grooves. All the tracks would deserve a mention, but some of my favourite are the fresh, soulful and uplifting "disco" influenced "Freak your body" and "Believe", the funky groover "Sex fantasy", the solid and deeper "House music" and the laid-back and jazzy cuts "Never give up" and "The jazz". Ledge is a French band formed by Polerik Rouvière and Olivier Martyn. "This is Ledge" is a 5 tracks EP taken from their forthcoming second album and includes some very hot tracks. The music of Ledge is a brilliant combination of electro-pop and funky elements in a typical Freench-touch flavour. Tracks like "California" and "Make me older" are powerful examples of their "electronica meets funky" style, while "Precious time" and "Till the morning" are solid electro-pop tracks, while "Friday night movies" is a more rock oriented affair. Italy's Soulfood (Franco Martinelli and Massimo Sottini) come correct with the powerful yet smooth production titled "How will I" which is built around a fiercely stompin', funk soaked backdrop and features soulful vocals by Deborah 'Deby' Quattrini alongside jazzy keys and classy chords. The 'Pacific Princess Mix' is a marvelous alternate version that somewhat relaxes the vibe, while the beatless 'Lounge Mix' is a dreamy affair. "Live" because this series really takes the listeners into the party, the cd's are recorded live in the clubs and they reproduce the total club's atmospheres and not only the music. This new "Stealth Live" CD was recorded by Dirty Vegas on Saturday 3rd October at club Sankeys in Manchester UK, using 4 decks, 2 mixers, 2 laptops and various percussions. Subliminal is back with the new chapter of the "Subliminal Sessions" series. For this Winter 2009 release the compilation is selected and mixed by top Swedish dj/producer Steve Angello. Steve provides two powerful electro-house and tech-house sets including some of the hottest tracks and artists in the genere. The new "House Masters" series release on Defected, features music from ATFC and David Penn. I really loved last year's Marc Evans debut album, now Defected releases this beautiful 2xCD Deluxe Edition, including the original album as well as a second CD with exclusive tracks and remixes. Some of the best album tracks are reworked by the likes of Mark Grant, DJ Meme, The MuthaFunkaz, Miguel Migs, ATFC, Lovebirds and others. The CD also includes some unreleased tracks as well as 2 wonderful remixes of Evans biggest hit "The way you love me", a soulful and delicate "MuthaFunkin' Soul mix" and the well known TSOP remix by Dimitri from Paris. Defected continue to celebrate 10 years in house music with the release of "Defected Clubland Adventures Vol.2", this 3xCD package is a retrospective album that also looks at the future, a compilation where the Defected classic tracks are enriched with a few exclusive new cuts. The luxury box includes beside the 3 Cds selected by Simon Dunmore and mixed by Simon Dunmore and Andy Daniell, a commemorative booklet of Defected’s 10 years in the House with greteat photos and infos about the artists and the music. The tracklist is absolutely awesome, it highlights many of the label’s musical high points over its history, including memorable Defected and sublabels classic tracks. New Mondo is an exciting team born from the collaboration of two hot San Francisco deep-house producers, DJ MFR (Marco From Rome) and Vincent Kwok. Their debut album "Total control" is an excellent release, enriched by stunning vocal performances from top singers like Lisa Shaw, Morrison, Leedia Urteaga and Indra Jones. The music is a nice combination of uplifting soulful influenced tracks and solid deeper cuts that perfectly mixes the fresh California's house vibe with wicked 80's new wave funk elements. All the tracks would deserve a mention, but some of my favourites are the latin influenced "Enamorada", the soulful and uplifting "Alright" and "Beautiful", as well as the solid "I want cha", "Total control" and "Bring it back".  (Franco Martinelli)

Jay Tripware's new album "4th density" is a fantstic ride into deep, dubby house music enriched with minimal, techno elements. The atmosphere here, is very underground and dark. Tracks like "Visual spectrum" and "Forward matter" are solid bass driven techy cuts, in "Metropolis of light" an irresistible percussive groove perfectly combines itself with deep bassline, dark pads and synths. The beautiful "Time is eternal" is filled with infectious old-school elements enriched with great sax solos, "Do me this way" features Alexander East on vocals and is a deep, acid tinged track, "Green ray vibration" is a groovy and synths affair, while "Ascend" is another impressive pumpin' cut. In this LP, King Roc experiments trip-hop, ambient and chillout music, providing a bunch of intense, electronic teacks full of strings, melody and creative arrangements. Glenn S is a young producer from Holland and "The mayan EP" is his new release on Otra Vez. This 4 track EP is very interesting, it combines percussion driven beats with infectious synth lines and melodies. "Sungod" is awesome, simple and extremely effective, with infectious vocals by Jo'Leon and an irresistible groovy beat. What a nice surprise, Grant Nelson is back with a real summer anthem. "Brave new world" is a fresh and infectious track with an irresitible driving groove, awesome piano chords, uplifting synths and catchy vocal drops. "Party of the year" is a very eclectic and infectious record that perfectly combines House, Funky, Hip-hop, R&B, 70's Soul, Deep and Jazz elemnts, enriched by the intense and soulful vocal performances of Mr. Everett. Listening to this album is pure pleasure, it is an awesome ride into today's hottest and quality Soul influenced music. There are so many great tracks in this LP that it is so very hard to choose some favourites. Personally I really love "Don't go", the 70's disco influenced teracks "All the time" and "Music", the fresh, latin tinged "Bangin" and the funky "New day" among the others. "Move on up" is the 3rd single from Oscar P's "Time machine" album and comes with a fully loaded remix package. Abe Duque's 3rd album "Don’t be so mean" is a very interesting and eclectic release, alongside the dancefloor orientated cuts on which he has built his reputation, there are excellent ambient, electronica, and techno influenced cuts. This album shows Abe's more meditative side with tracks like "Why they needs us", "Ofma" and "Forever untitled", alongside more pumpin' and deep cuts like "Life is so good to me", "Tonight is your answer", "Following my heart" featuring Virginia Nascimento on vocals and the acid monster "Trash acid down", just to name a few. The second release by Australian label Brain Kat Records is "Passers by", a nice and catchy synth-pop influenced track with an infectious 80's vibe and sexy vocals. Beside the original mixes, the package also includes a more driven and electro remix by James De Pinho, as well as an awesome Funky Dub by Ben Jam who completely reworks the track, adding warm Rhodes keys, funky bass, piano, guitar and sax parts. "Lift me up" is the new release by Kris Reen & Majuri on d:vision. This track is strictly for the dancefloors, in perfect euro-trance style with catchy vocals, this is gonna be big next summer. Ralf GUM is back with another awesome release on his own label GoGo Music. This time he teams up with singer Daniel Thomas and "Higher high" is a fantastic funky-house gem with an infectious soulful vibe. The "Original disco attack mix" is one of the freshest funky tunes I heard lately, it has solid funky beats, 70's disco inspired arrangements and great falsetto vocals. Ralf also provides a deeper and more minimal version in his "Deeper deep mix", while The Realm delivers a smoother and soulful remix, with great rhodes keys and a fresh jazzy touch. Tortured Soul are probably the best live band in the soulful-house scene and "Did you miss me" is their new beautiful second album. Tortured Soul are very talented musicians, able to transfer on the record the freshness of their live performances and this makes their sound unique. The 12 songs of the album are fresh and uplifting tracks that combines perfectly soul, funky, jazzy and pop elements into an high quality and enjoyable selection of soulful gems. The Original Mix of "Love is real" is damn hot, Enrico perfectly combines deep beats, synth bassline, electro blips, spacey pads, old-school percussions and warm soulful vocals. Behind Soopasoul there's rave pioneer and now worldclass funksta Danny Hybrid. His new album "Twin stix" on Jalapeno Records is one of the fresher funky music stuff I heard lately. All recorded with a proper full live band, this LP combines perfectly the classic funky vibe with hip-hop and breaks grooves, r&b vocals, jazzy and swing elements, resulting simply awesome and extremely enjoyable. Some of the hottest tracks from the album are the powerful singles "Brand new" and "Swing down" featuring Nikeya Broker and the current smash "Hot & cold" featuring Dionne Charles, but all the tracks of the LP would deserve a mention. The new Stephanie Cooke's release on King Street is a remix of her classic track "I thank you" re-touched by top italian soulful producers Doll Combers. The track receives remix treatment from some very talented producers/remixers and the result is simply awesome. Really loved this track a few years ago when it was first released, now the remixes gives this great track a new life. Here's another chapter of the stellar "Mix The Vibe" series on King Street Sounds, and what a shiny nugget is this. The legendary Basement Boys members Teddy Douglas and DJ Spen reunite after many years on this extra special King Street commemorative double mix CD. Both the mixed sets are amazing, including real gems from the King Street and Nite Grooves catalouges as well as tracks from their own artists. Disk 1 presents the Teddy Douglas mix, a very strong and infectious underground set with an intense deep flavour, including tracks like Ananda Project's "Where the music takes you", Urban Soul's "Goodbye love", Kimara Lovelace's "When can our love begin" and "Far away", Hideo Kobayashi's "Yuki", as well as cuts from Mateo & Matos, Peven Everett, Quentin Harris and Kerri Chandler. DJ Spen provides a funkier set, including many house classics like Dennis Ferrer's "Church lady", Studio Apartment feat. Funky house at its best ! "Reach 4 you" by LEM feat. Tara J. is one of the hottest releases of the moment. The "Original Club mix" is an uplifting funky track with an infectious soulful flavour and great vocals, but it's the Mood II Swing mix the real gem of this package, a solid and deeper rework for the dancefloor that spread more energy, keeping the soulful vibe alive. Born To Funk join the Gotta Keep Faith family with a powerful funky release titled "Get funky". For his new release on DuffNote, Thomas Toccafondi teams up with Kaysee and the result is this excellent vocal-house track titled "I've changed". The "Original mix" is a classic soulful track but it's the "Earnshaw & Jones mix" the real nugget of this package, this mix is a solid funky and filtered rework with an uplifting vibe that perfectly fits with the beautiful soulful vocal perfonmace by Kaysee. The new GoGo Music release is "Uyangichomela" by South Africa's group Shana, remixed by label's boss Ralf GUM. Once again Ralf mixes together house and deep elements with African rhythms and vocals. The "The Ralf GUM Classic mix" is a beautiful uplifting track where the trademark GoGo soulful and deep elements perfectly fits with the original sound and the sweet vocal melodies sung in Zulu language. Aaron Ross presents "Westbourne Park Dubs EP" a very solid, deep and pumpin' 4 tracks EP on Max Trax Records. The first track is the banging and hypnotic "Butterfly", followed by "El toro" a more dub affair with deep beats, funky bassline and spanish elements. I really loved this album from the very first listening ! Black Science Orchestra's "Walter's room" is an outastanding LP first released back in 1996 and re-realeased now with the adding of previously un-released material and hard to find remixes. The Original album is a fantastic trip into the 90's  house music golden age, with great track influenced by the 70's rare-grooves sounds and 90's classic deep and acid-jazz flavours, but those 70's disco and funky inspired tracks are very fresh even now. The un-released and rare remixes tracks includses Black Science Orchestra's first hit "Where were you", "New Jersey deep" and other gems. Marc Evans provides probably the best soulful-house artist album of the year. "The way you love me" is a stellar release, 13 high quality tracks, enriched by the superb soul vocals of this super talented singer. All the tracks would need a mention, but some of my favourites are the classic "The way you love me", "Given me joy", the intense ""Rich out for love", the delicate ballad "Beneath the crescent moon" also included in acoustic version, the funky "I don't want you anymore" & "This things called love" and the tech-edged "Serenity". Tone Control Music returns with another beautiful soulful release titled "Passin' thru" by Poussez vs. DeMarkus Lewis ft. Hannah Khemoh. The "Original mix" is a fantstic deep track with an infectious soulful flavour, it has solid beats, hot bassline, great keys played by Andy "Touch" Fingers and beautiful soulful vocals from  Hannah Khemoh (Poettiquette / Reel People). If you like the modern electronic sound, keep an eye on this new, talented, young DJ/Producer, Kim Fai. "Kissing in Krakow" is his debut album on Toolroom Records and it is the first artist album of the famous "Leadres of the New Scool" series. Kim Fai provides a great selection of today's electronic tracks for the clubs, body-shaking tech house with touches of stripped back minimal and flourishes melodies. Stalwart returns with another beautiful soulful-funky release. The 2008 remixes of the Stalwart classic "Make It Alright" by Lenny Fontana & Joy Cardwell are really hot. The compilation, selected and mixed by John Digweed himself includes classic Bedrock tracks from the label's back catalouge as well as brand new cuts, representing today's Bedrock sound. Mutated Recordings is back with another soulful-house gem. French duo Nassau teams up with singer Krista and provides the beautiful "Rebound". The "Original mix" is a fresh piece of pure soulful house with great keys and sweet string, enriched with a powerful synth bass line. The 2 Stereo Mutants mixes are more deeper and pumpin' club affairs, while Keith Thompson adds an infectious funky vibe in his rework. Marlon D & George Mena join forces once again to rework this Darryl D'Bonneau classic titled "Don't turn your back". The result is a fiercy package of modern soulful-house, with pumpin' beats, powerful bassline, hot horns and beauftiful keys. There are various mixes to choose from, including the deeper "Sweet & deep" mixes as well as the brilliant "Jazz it up mix" and "Percapella mix". Sobra Recordings is the sister label of Gotta Keep Faith. Born to be alternative to the main label, Sobra will release music from Chill Out to Breaks, Funky Roots, Jazz, Bossa etc... The first release is "Feel the cat" by Feel The Cat, the "Original mix" is an intense electro funk track enriched with jazzy flavours and african chants mixed with a sexy female vocal sample.The "Sunstet version" is a beautiful semi acoustic, lounge gem, while the "Feel the house mix" is a smooth jazzy-house track with pumpin' beats, warm Rhodes chords and a beautiful jazzy trumpet. Mark Knight teams up with Funkagenda and Paul Thompson for this new releas on Toolroom. "Arena" is a massive peak-time bomb, has pumpin' beats, powerful bassline, wicked synths and spreads a lot of energy. "I Believe" that features Cozza on vocals is a brilliant, uplifting house track with an hot funky vibe and an infectious gospel-house flavour. "Can you feel it" is the new release of Steven Stone on MoD Recordings. The "Original mix" is a classic soulful-house track with great Rhodes keys, funky bassline, warm sax solo and infectious vocals by Sibylle. Disco Heat is the new, exciting compilation from Bargrooves, it is another high quality music package showcasing quality classic releases from background bar beats to mainroom floors fillers. CD 1 "Disco heat" is a 13 tracks mixed set with an uplifting funky-house, disco-influenced flavour. There are so many hot tracks on this disc, including Soulsearchers's "Feelin' love", Lab Rats "Music is my way of life", Marc Evans "Reach out for love", Blaze's classic "Do you remember house", Alan Braxe & Fred Falke's "Intro", the new Richard Earnshaw remix of Louie Vega & Jay Sinister Salee's "Diamond life" and many other nuggets. Disc 2 "Deep disco" goes deeper with a great selection of pumpin' house tracks from Freemansons, MD Xspress, Dennis Ferrer, Full Intention, DJ Gregory, Quentin Harris, Ultra Nate and others. Disc 3 "Vintage vibes" is an outstanding selection of disco-house tracks and includes some great classics, as well as covers and remixes in pure 70's inspired disco style. All the cuts of this disc would deserve a mention, but some of my favourite are Secret Sounds "Come back home", Johnny Corporate's "Sunday shoutin", Bob Sinclar's "The ghetto", P-Funkateers "Final fling" and Salsoul Orchestra feat. Love Over Money is the latest artist project from Simon Finnegan and Nathan Thomas, featuring the gorgeous vocal talent of Amanda Posener. The "Original mix" of "Keep on" is a beautiful and warm soulful track enriched with an intense vocal performance and infectious 70's flavour. The remixes are courtesy of UK legend Phil Asher in his "Restless Soul" guise, who provides a beautiful club re-work adding a brilliant, percussive groove, live instruments and a powerful electronic bass. Seamless Recordings is back with a beautiful soulful track titled "Loveblind" by JazzLoungerz & Headtrip. The "Original mix" is a classic soulful affair, with smooth chords, hot bassline and the passionate vocal performance by Lu Chase. The second release on 3345 Records is another hot one. "Dream state" by 3C is a beautiful deep and jazzy track provided in various mixes. The "Original Broken jazz mix" is a sophisticated jazzy-house track, essential for the hottest lounge sets, the "Intensity of sound remix" has solid beats and a deep-house flavour, while the "Smokin' jazzy remix" is a deepr affair with smooth chords, warm sax solo and an infectious jazzy vibe. Face added some hot vocals and a funky bassline in his solid remix. Deadmaus5 is one of the hottest names in the world of electronic music today and "Random album title" is his debut album on Ministry Of Sound. What a fantastic release is this ! We all loved the 2002 original mixes of "Diamond life" and we all also loved the 2004 remixes package on Yoshitoshi. Now, this timeless masterpiece is out on Bargrooves with the addiction of brand new remixes from Copyright, Danism and Richard Earnshaw, as well as some of the best mixes from the old releases. The "Copyright remix" is a modern funky and groovy rework, with infectious bassline and wicked synth keys, while the "Copyright tribe mix" is an intense and deeper affair, with lots of great percussions and underground sounds. Danism provides a more uplifting and funky rework, while Richard Earnshaw delivers a beautiful soulful remix. DJ Roland Clark is back with his new release on King Street. "Black in my soul" is a very deep track enriched by Roland's fantastic spoken vocals. Swedish producer Tiger Stripes provides a powerful deep mix, with pumpin' beats, driven bassline and wicked keys. The "Tiger Stripes Dub" is a deeper and darker piece of underground music, with hypnotic bassline, dark pads and filtered vocals. Phil Asher (Plash & Friends) is back with his third single "Runnin / Exaltation" on Italy's Archive Records. "Runnin" is an impressive boogie flavoured House number featuring the delicious and intense vocals of rising London star Shea Soul. CD 1 "Bigroom Lovin" hosts the current big-room sound and features tracks from Baggi Bergovic & Sound Cospiracy "So into u", Joy Cardwell's "Keep coming around" remixed by Mischa Daniels, Tiger Stripes, Deadmaus 5, Till West & Eddie Thoneik, Cicada, Patrick La Funk and many others. Mark Trophy is one half of the house & electro UK duo The Trophy Twins and this one is his solo release on Toolroom Trax. "Ripper" is a bonkers peaktime house banger, simple and effective, this track shakes every dancefloor, guaranteed ! Remixes comes from Holland's Koen Groeneveld (One half of the Klubbheads) who provides a techy and darker rework, while Chris Special delivers a minimal remix.  (Franco Martinelli)

Shlomi Aber returns to Renaissance with his own remixes of the title track taken from his debut album release "State Of No One". The first track "Shlomi Aber Remix" is a pumpin' and techy affair, it has an hypnotic groove enriched with hot percussions, rich pads and vocal samples. The "Shlomi Aber Deep Dub" has pumpin' beats, darker chord stabs and spacey pads, for a more underground vibe.  (Franco Martinelli)

"Stop & smell the roses" by S-Sense is a fresh and catchy track produced by Davide Riva and sung by Linda Lee Hopkins. The Original version is a nice mixture of electronic beats and funky sounds, enriched with an uplifting vocal perfonmance, but it's the "SaintPaul DJ remix" the real gem of the package, an infectious soulful remix with deep beats, great piano chords and beautiful strings that perfectly fits with the intense vocals. "Esperanza" is the debut artist album of Guy J, it is essentially a journey through the various faces of the modern electronic music, alongside the dancefloor oriented minimal-techy cuts there are intense ambient tracks and electronic mid-tempo songs. Probably this is not an album for everybody, but it is absolutely not to be missed if you are an open minded electronic music lover.  (Franco Martinelli) 

Following the successful "I Get Deep" DJ Le Roi and Roland Clark collaborate once more to deliver "Soul Mediation". The "Original mix" is a real soulful gem with a classic garage edge, a fresh summer groove filled with warm percussions and the fantastic spoken vocals of Roland Clark. The "Sunday morning mix" is a deeper rework with addicition of underground elements and darker pads. First consideration, "C'est la vie" is not an house-music album, yes it includes dance tracks but it is not only a dance album, it is a mixture of funky, r&b, 80's electronic music, house, rock and old school pop. There's a bit of everything in this album, "C'est la vie" seems a track taken from the best Prince's moments, "I want you" and "Superficial" are killer funky tracks, "Beauty false" and "Some other time" are infectious pop ballads, while the other tracks are a rich mixture of funky grooves and vintage electronic instruments, enriched with some modern blips, wicked synth parts and 80's pop inspired vocals. After 3 years since his last single release Darren Emerson is back with the brand new "Crash jack" on Global Underground. "Crash jack" is a powerful techno influnced track with solid driven beats, an icessant synth riff, percussive overtones and massive breakdowns. This "Jaffa Music EP" is a very interesting package, a fine selection of past and upcoming releases, including the beautiful "Gotcha" by Rachel Claudio, the lovely "Miscommunicate" remixed by Dolls Combers and deep house hero Yass, a solid funky track titled "These times" by Soul Harmonics & Rachel Claudio, Nicholas Vautier's "Sala" remixed by Ralf Gum and Dom Navarra and finally the Raw Artistic Soul remix of "Freeedom" by Rachel Claudio.  (Franco Martinelli)

Behind the Kinsmen project are the very hot producer Gainluca Pighi and legendary italian funky-house-DJ Francis Galante. The two teamed-up with top singer Wendy Lewis and the result is this powerful deep track with an infectious funky flavour, out now on "Pride Records". The "Original mix" has solid beats, pumpin' bassline, catchy vocals and uplifting 70's strings. Ok, this is not a brand new release, but a very hot one. Originally released on Defected and now available on d.vison too, this is a beautiful album of one of the most fresh and solid teams in house music today, the Copyright. "Voices & visions" is a 3 cds package of high quality, CD 1 offers all the biggest Coipyright's Defected hits, including the recent "Wizeman" and a lot of classics like "I pray" , "He is", "We can rise", "In da club" and some new tracks. CD 2 presents a super selection, including some of the biggest early Copyright tracks like "Bulo" and "Late at night" as well as some great Copyright remixes of classic house tracks like "I can't get no sleep" by MAW feat. India, Kathy Brown's "Never again", Mister V's "Put your drink down" and more cuts from Lisa Millett, Jay-J, Annette Taylor and others.
